WMU students eligible for deep discount on symphony tickets
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University students can attend performances of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra for just $5 through a new student ticket offer recently announced by KSO officials.
Students who show up at the venue box office with their Bronco Cards an hour before any performance in the KSO's Symphonic or The World Of series will be eligible for a $5 ticket to any available seat in the house. Students can next take advantage of the offer Friday, Nov. 20, when the KSO presents an evening of music by Saint-Saens and Shostakovich, featuring French pianist Pascal Rogé, who will play Saint-Saens' 5th Piano Concerto. The performance begins at 8 p.m. in Miller Auditorium. Available $5 student tickets will be distributed starting at 7 p.m. at the ticket office. The normal ticket prices for the event range from $12 to $60.
