Student leadership institute accepting registrations

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—An institute is being held this semester to help Western Michigan University students augment their collaboration and leadership skills.

The 2016 Diversity and Leadership Institute will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in the Trimpe Building. It is being organized by WMU's Student Activities and Leadership Programs office.

The institute is a half-day program featuring a keynote speaker and educational sessions. In addition to engaging in dialogue on diversity and leadership, participants will learn how to work collaboratively in a diverse world and how to become stronger leaders.

The cost to register for the Diversity and Leadership Institute is $5. To pay that fee, stop by the Student Activities and Leadership Programs office in 223 Bernhard Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Registration will not be complete until the fee is paid.
