WMU trustees to elect officers at upcoming meeting
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, Feb. 11, in a public session that has been designated as its formal annual meeting and will include the election of officers for 2016.
Trustees will meet in formal session at 11 a.m. in the second-floor ballroom of Heritage Hall. In addition to the election of officers, agenda items include a recommendation to approve the awarding of an honorary degree this spring.
Additional items on the agenda include reports covering personnel moves, receipt of gifts and grants and a number of changes to academic programs. Informational reports on Heritage Hall and on the status of entrepreneurship programs and support initiatives at WMU also are part of the agenda.
