Carl F. Shuster, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died Feb. 8. He was 87.
Shuster, of Mattawan, joined the WMU faculty/staff in 1974 and retired in 1992 after 18 years of service to the University. He was director of the pilot plants in the Department of Paper and Printing Science and Engineering.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Shuster, who retired from WMU as a manager in accounts payable.
A memorial service will be held in April.
