Game time is 7:08 p.m. In addition to promoting individual game tickets, WMU will host a pre-game Bronco Stampede at 5:30 p.m. in Party Plaza 3. Party Plazas are located above the Big Cat Court, behind section 321. Sales of tickets for the Stampede event also include Upper Box Infield seats and a picnic buffet. The pre-game Stampede is limited to the first 300 who purchase the package at $59 per person.

The first 1,500 fans who purchase tickets through the special WMU ticket page, will receive a voucher for a limited edition Detroit Tigers baseball cap in school colors. Fans should bring the voucher to the game to pick up the hat at a special redemption station. Individual hats will not be available. There is no way to obtain a hat without being one of the first 1,500 to purchase a ticket through mywmu.com/tigers.

Those who purchase game tickets or the Stampede package through mywmu.com  by May 1 will be automatically entered into a raffle in which ticket holders will have an opportunity to win:

  • A Miguel Cabrera autographed baseball.
  • A Miguel Cabrera autographed photo.
  • A Jose Iglesias autographed baseball.

University nights have been a part of the Tigers' home games for several years, but this is the first time WMU has been a part of the mix. The event is for alumni, community members, faculty, staff, and current and prospective students.

"We want to pack the stadium," says Christopher Praedel, assistant director of engagement in WMU's Office of  Development and Alumni Relations, who is coordinating the effort. "We want the University community to attend, wear their Bronco gear and show a strong WMU presence."
