KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University’s 2016 Bachelor of Fine Arts dance majors will present their graduating presentation concert, titled "Tones," at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, April 14-16, in the Dalton Center's Studio B. Afternoon performances are also scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17.

Tickets are $12 general admission and $5 for students, and are available from Miller Auditorium online or by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858.

The show includes 55 dance majors along with a variety of dance genres such as contemporary, modern, and jazz. The concert will showcase choreography by Jordan Colovos, Sam Crouch, Annie Franklin, Devon Lloyd, Sarah Jones, Sarah Mills and Carla O’Connor.

The seven new dances choreographed by the seniors exhibit the choreographers' individual artistic voices that have developed through their time at WMU. The show also will feature a new work commissioned by Partners in Dance, which was choreographed by former company member of River North Chicago and current faculty member of WMU’s Department of Dance, Monique Haley.
