Sophia Julia Marvin, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died April 9. She was 94.
Marvin, of Kalamazoo, joined the WMU staff in 1973 and retired in 1983 after 10 years of service to the University. She was a data operator.
Services and remembrances
Cremation will take place and a private Mass will be celebrated. Services were held at the Life Story Funeral Home in Kalamazoo. Burial will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
