Dorene Lois Scheffers, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died April 17. She was 77.
Scheffers, of Kalamazoo, joined the WMU staff in 1984 and retired in 1998 after 14 years of service to the University. She was a receptionist, most recently working in the Graduate College admissions area.
