University Concert Band starts its season Oct. 25

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The University Concert Band will kick off its concert season at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Western Michigan University’s Miller Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert features "Toccata Marziale" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, "Of Sailors and Whales" by W. Francis McBeth, "J.S. Jig" by Brant Karrick and "Folk Festival" by Dmitri Shostakovich transcribed by Donald Hunsberger.
