Bill Morris Chambers obituary

Bill Morris Chambers, a former Western Michigan University head baseball coach, died Jan. 10 in Tennessee. He was 92.

A former professional athlete, Chambers was an assistant baseball coach for seven years and head baseball coach for eight years at WMU while he was employed at WMU from 1960 to 1985. During that time, he also was an associate professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, in Tennessee. His obituary is available online.
