Employees invited to nominate students for Who's Who
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Faculty and staff members at Western Michigan University are invited to nominate deserving students for inclusion in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."
Nominations are being accepted through Friday, Feb. 3, for the program, which WMU has participated in for more than 20 years. The student's name, WIN and email address must be included for each nomination, and no late nominations will be accepted.
Faculty and staff members may nominate undergraduate or graduate students who have:
- Earned a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average at WMU.
- Attained junior, senior or graduate student status (56 or more credits).
- Demonstrated involvement on campus and in their community.
Nominated students will be asked to complete an application form and those who qualify for "Who's Who" will be asked to apply for the honor. Students who receive the "Who's Who" designation will be celebrated at a ceremony in late March.
Nomination forms can be found online at wmich.collegiatelink.net/form/start/91389, which requires entering ExperienceWMU through the GoWMU portal. To receive a nomination form via email, make a request to salp-campusengage@wmich.edu.
Completed forms should be sent to Lauren Behmlander in the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Programs by email to salp-campusengage@wmich.edu or campus mail to Mail Stop 5356.
Direct questions to Lauren Behmlander at salp-campusengage@wmich.edu or (269) 387-2476.
