Chicago-based chamber group will present multimedia experience

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Fifth House Ensemble will present a multimedia performance featuring illustrations by prolific comics artist, author, illustrator and designer Sarah Becan at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Western Michigan University's Dalton Center Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Fifth House Ensemble is a Chicago-based chamber group that has pioneered the art of narrative music performance by creating multimedia experiences that intertwine dramatic trajectory with chamber music. "Luna de Cuernos," a modern interpretation of a Puerto Rican folktale, is a story of a tight-knit group of friends and family under threat, and the risks they will take to defend all that they hold dear.
