Bronco football to hold Fan Fest at Waldo Stadium

2017 WMU Fan Fest, Aug. 12, 3:30 to 6 p.m, free.
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Western Michigan University football team will be holding a Fan Fest from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Waldo Stadium, in conjunction with its open scrimmage. Admission is free and open to the public.

There will be a plethora of activities for fans of all ages, including sports skill challenges with different WMU teams such as a hockey challenge, putting challenge, free throw challenge and football accuracy challenge.

For fans wishing to get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes operations of Bronco athletics, facility tours of the Bill Brown Center and Seelye Athletic Center will be offered.

Fans also will be able to have their pictures taken with current Bronco student-athletes and coaches as well as purchase gear. Everyone in attendance will receive the 2017 WMU football poster, which they can get signed by their favorite WMU players and coaches following the scrimmage. The first 500 fans also will receive a No. 1 Broncos Fan window placard.

Those who still need to get their 2017 season tickets can meet with members of the Bronco ticket office to pick their seats for all six home games at Waldo Stadium.
