Celia Yonkers, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died Aug. 29. She was 93.
Yonkers, of Kalamazoo, joined the WMU staff in 1969 and retired in 1988 after nearly 19 years of service to the University. She was a clerk in the School of Music.
Services
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. Ninth St.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. that same day. Private interment will be held in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
