Wisconsin Brass Quintet to perform Bach, Schuller and Etler
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Wisconsin Brass Quintet will perform at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, in Western Michigan University’s Dalton Center Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Wisconsin Brass Quintet
Regarded as one of the “superb brass ensembles in the USA,” according to Musicweb International, and praised for “remarkable musicianship and versatility” by the International Trumpet Guild Journal, the widely acclaimed Wisconsin Brass Quintet will be returning to the WMU campus to perform works including J.S. Bach’s Partita No. 4, Gunther Schuller’s Music for Brass Quintet and Alvin Etler’s Quintet for Brass Instruments.
