Griselda Daniel obituary
Griselda Daniel, a former Western Michigan University administrator in the Graduate College, died April 1. She was 80.
Daniel, of Gobles, Michigan, joined the WMU staff in 1977 and retired in 2005 after 28 years of service to the University. She began her career at WMU as assistant director for the Martin Luther King Jr. program and later became that program's director. She also had been assistant to the provost and vice president for academic affairs and director of special programs, ultimately retiring as assistant to the dean and director of diversity recruitment for the Graduate College.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 22, in Walwood Hall's first-floor Walwood Commons on East Campus. Private burial will take place in Battle Creek Memorial Park Cemetery.
