Jo Ann Betz, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died March 15. She was 84.
Betz, of Comstock, joined the WMU staff in 1978 and retired in 1995 after 17 years of service to the University. She was a finance clerk.

Cremation has taken place; there will be no visitation.
