Ellis Rathburn, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died Aug. 16. He was 87.
Rathburn joined the WMU staff in 1969 and retired in 1993 after 24 years of service to the University. He was a locksmith.

Memorial service
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Evart Free Methodist Church, 6153 95th Ave., Evart, Michigan.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart.
