WMU board to consider new unit name Thursday
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, in formal session.
The meeting will convene in Rooms 157-159 of the Bernhard Center on the University's Main Campus. The board will be asked to authorize changing the name of Extended University Programs to WMUx. The new unit will continue to serve as the home for regional programs while supporting innovation at the University.
Also being considered by the board is extending the lease agreement with PNC Bank at the Bernhard Center through April 30, 2028.
