KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees is set to meet at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown-Fort Shelby in the Terrace Room, 525 W. Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit. While typically convening on Main Campus in Kalamazoo, trustees periodically meet at locations elsewhere in the state to reach out to those regions the University serves.

During their meeting, trustees will consider the purchase of training aircrafts for the College of Aviation with investment from WMU Foundation to replace its aging aircrafts. If approved, the purchase of the new fleet and sale of the existing aircraft would occur over several years.

In addition, the board will consider deletions, additions and renaming of several academic degree programs and certificates; personnel updates; and a declaration celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the 1998 MAC Championship men's basketball team. View the agenda
