KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees is set to meet at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, in the North Ballroom of the Bernhard Center to consider the merger of the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and the Department of Geography, Environment and Tourism. The single unit within the College of Arts and Sciences would be called the School of Environment, Geography and Sustainability and current programs would transfer into the new school.
