WMU board to consider proposed 2023-24 tuition, room and board rates Thursday

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Tuition, required fees and room and board rates for the 2023-24 academic year top the agenda when the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees meets Thursday, June 29, at 11 a.m. in the Bernhard Center, Rooms 157-159.

Trustees also will consider several other items, including the general operating budget for the fiscal year that begins on July 1, a recommendation to purchase the building that houses WMU’s Grand Rapids location and the University’s state-required, five-year capital outlay plan. 

Individuals who wish to address the board during public comment sections of the meeting must email Dr. Kahler Schuemann by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28. For additional details, find the board’s full agenda online. The meeting also will be streaming online.
