Student Spotlight: Ellie Lundy – Leading with Compassion and Communication
Ellie Lundy, a first-year doctoral student in Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University, serves as the Switchboard Student Lead in the IT department. Originally from Charlotte, MI, Ellie chose WMU for its renowned OT program. In her IT role, she manages calls, assists students with inquiries, and develops leadership and communication skills that complement her career goals. Outside of work, she enjoys reading fantasy novels, spending time with friends, and nannying children with disabilities—a passion inspired by her mother, a special education teacher.
