WMU Board of Trustees to meet in formal session Thursday, Dec. 12

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University’s Board of Trustees is set to convene at noon on Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Heritage Hall ballroom to consider several items, including trustees' assessment of President Edward Montgomery and a procedure to assess future WMU presidents. Montgomery is retiring next year.

Also on the board's agenda is a commercial lease agreement for additional storage space for the Michigan Geological Repository for Research and Education, a natural gas pipeline easement at West Hills Athletic Club, a personnel report, curriculum proposals and other items. The meeting will be accessible by livestream.
