WMU board to meet Thursday

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University’s Board of Trustees meets Thursday, Sept. 11, at noon in the Heritage Hall ballroom when members are expected to consider approving a four-year contract with the Professional Instructors Organization (PIO). Other agenda items the trustees will consider include authorizing President Russ Kavalhuna to confer degrees at the 2025 Fall Commencement ceremony, a personnel report and an amendment to the Brian Schott LaCombe Humanitarian Scholarship.
