The most rewarding part of my job is getting to work with and learn from so many hard-working and motivated individuals: our homeowners, volunteers, and my coworkers. The most challenging part of my job would be having to sit at a desk in an office for a long period of time, Monday through Friday.

We also assist with staff training to make sure our therapists are able to implement programs or procedures. What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job? The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the improvements in the client’s behaviors. Seeing a client’s family smile because their child made an improvement or a client smile because they now have a way to communicate their needs makes each day rewarding.

Watching them discover themselves, succeed and achieve their goals is definitely the most rewarding part of my job. I enjoy figuring out new methods or using some tried and true methods to teach a student struggling to master a skill.

To know that I am playing a part in pushing the limits of scientific understanding of multiple fields is the most rewarding part of my job.
