Celebrity guest is WMU alum In Kalamazoo, "Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me!" will also welcome former NFL player and WMU graduate Terry Crews as a special guest for its popular "Not My Job" segment. As the game goes, Crews, who currently stars on the Fox sitcom "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," will be quizzed on a subject about which he knows absolutely nothing.

Sam Clark, the college's director at the time, was developing an advisor position and encouraged Bartholomew to get her master's degree to qualify for it. She earned that degree and got the advising job. In 1990 she took her experience to the College of Health and Human Services and has served as director of academic and student services with the college ever since.

WMU grad student wins coveted NEA creative writing fellowship

She was working as house manager at a Shakespeare theatre in Staunton, Va., when she quit her job to throw herself completely into writing. "I liked describing my life more than I liked living my life," she says. "I knew that that was a problem. So I quit my job and I moved to New York City to take writing seriously. I worked a bunch of odd jobs, wrote, went to writing conferences, applied to graduate school and started to make it my number-one priority in my life.
