Pathways

Established Pathways are listed below.  Students are encouraged to select a Pathway that focuses on a passion area not already covered by their academic courses.

  • Civic Engagement: individuals who select this pathway are passionate about making a difference in civic life and promoting quality of life in a community, through both political and non-political processes.

  • Diversity and Inclusion: individuals who select this pathway are passionate about supporting the dignity and worth of all human beings regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, political beliefs, and other identities.

  • Entrepreneurship: individuals who select this pathway are passionate about the process of organizing, managing, and assuming the risks of a business or enterprise, as well as familiarizing themselves with best business practices for the potential future goal of owning their own business or endeavour.

  • Global Engagement: individuals who select this pathway are passionate about developing a diverse and knowledgeable worldview, cross-cultural humility, and collaborative efforts across cultures.

  • Teaching and Student Success: (graduate students only): individuals who select this pathway are passionate about current and innovative pedagogy, and helping all students succeed in their educational endeavors.
