We Need You: Think Big Town Halls
Dear Campus Community,
We are excited to announce your next opportunity to engage in Think Big. We have planned four Town Halls where we will present the Big Idea that has emerged from your valuable work. And, as always, we’ll be seeking your engagement and good thinking, which has brought us to this point.
The Big Idea that will be presented will be the promise that we will make to our stakeholders, the special thing WMU brings to the world—our North Star. Like all Think Big engagements, there will be opportunities for you at the Town Halls to influence and guide the final outcome.
Please RSVP and plan to attend one of the Town Halls:
- Monday, Oct. 14, 3 to 5 p.m., Bernhard Center South Ballroom
- Tuesday, Oct. 15, 9 to 11 a.m., Bernhard Center South Ballroom
- Wednesday, Oct. 30, 3 to 5 p.m., Bernhard Center Rooms 208-210
- Thursday, Oct. 31, 2 to 4 p.m., Bernhard Center South Ballroom
Marketing Research Deep Dive
For those with a thirst for data and a love of research and statistics, please join us for a Marketing Research Deep Dive. At this session we’ll present a detailed report of the marketing research at a higher level of detail than time allows in the Town Halls. The results will be presented by the principals of our research firm, SimpsonScarborough.
Please RSVP for the Marketing Research Deep Dive
- Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1:30 to 3 p.m., Bernhard Center Rooms 105-107
We are inspired by the thinking that has emerged from your commitment. More than 1,100 members of the Western community have participated in Think Big so far. We are confident that you too will be energized when you come to the Town Halls.
In partnership and with gratitude,
Jennifer Bott
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
Tony Proudfoot
Vice President for Marketing and Strategic Communications
Diane Anderson
Vice President of Student Affairs
P.S. The Think Big Website has been updated with a full account of where we are in the process and the results from each phase that brought us to this point. Check out your good work, Western community.
