Board of Trustees to meet in formal session Thursday
The WMU Board of Trustees will meet at noon Thursday, Oct. 29, in the student center and via livestream. Trustees will consider an agreement to transfer stewardship of the Asylum Lake Preserve to Kalamazoo County and pursue legislation to eventually transfer ownership to the county, subject to continued conservation and state statutory restrictions. Other agenda items include WMU’s Five-Year Capital Outlay Master Plan and Project Request, a labor agreement with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, curriculum proposals and a personnel report.
Individuals wishing to address the board during public comment portions of the meeting must email Stacy Thinnes by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28.
