Lynn L. Chen-Zhang
Trustee Chen-Zhang currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Zhang Financial, a prominent fee-only wealth management firm. With credentials as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a certified public accountant, she has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 100 Women Financial Advisors by both Barron’s and Financial Times.
In addition to her role at Zhang Financial, Chen-Zhang serves as President of the WMU Foundation Board of Directors, where she is actively involved in the Foundation’s Investment Committee and the Committee on Directors. She also contributes her expertise to Southwest Michigan First’s Board of Directors and holds positions on several other local volunteer boards. Beyond her local engagements, Chen-Zhang plays significant roles on the Economics Advisory Council for Columbia University’s Department of Economics and is a member of Harvard University’s Committee on University Resources.
Chen-Zhang earned a Master’s degree in Accountancy from WMU, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and has completed an Executive Education program at Columbia University. Her dedication to financial stewardship and community involvement underscores her commitment to both professional excellence and civic leadership.
