Biographical Sketch Brief Biographical and Academic Sketch: Abstract (125 words max)This abstract will appear in the printed Visiting Scholars and Artists Program (VSAP) brochure and should briefly introduce the visiting scholar or artist to the campus and broader community. It should highlight their academic background, area(s) of expertise, and the nature of their planned visit, including lectures, workshops, performances, or other events (including dates and locations, if known). Please write the abstract in third person, using clear and engaging language accessible to a general audience. This is an opportunity to showcase the visit and generate interest in their events.If VSAP funding is approved, an updated Word document version of this abstract must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the award. Please email the updated abstract to @email with the subject line “VSAP [Award Year].” Timely submission of any revisions is important to allow sufficient time for the updated abstract to be included in the printed VSAP brochure and other promotional materials.
