Getting Off Campus
Sometimes the best thing you can do to change your perspective is change your location. We encourage all Broncos to embrace wanderlust, whether that means taking a short walk to downtown Kalamazoo or gathering a group of friends for a little road trip. If you think you’re ready for a really big adventure—far from Kalamazoo—our Study Abroad office can help you get almost anywhere in the world.
We’re proud to be part of a broader eclectic, electric community beyond the WMU campus. As a top-ranked city for 20-somethings and the third best city for new grads, there’s so much to enjoy just a short walk or drive away:
Discover Kalamazoo—Read the official guide.
Downtown Kalamazoo—Get to know our vibrant community.
Hotel accommodations—Find a place for family or friends to stay.
Kalamazoo Metro—Find routes and schedules for getting around.
The weekends are a great time to see all that Michigan has to offer. We’re known as the “Great Lakes State,” and our campus is located just 35 miles from the shores of Lake Michigan. No matter the season, there is always something fun to try:
We’re committed to helping Broncos build global skills by studying abroad, no matter where in the world you want to go or how long you want to stay.
