We Talk resources now available
With divisive messages permeating the discussion of issues and candidates in the upcoming elections, this is a good time to remind ourselves of how fortunate we are to be able to freely exercise the right to free speech. The University’s We Talk series this fall addressed these issues head on. The Realities of Free Speech and Lean In to Difficult Conversations presentations reflected on what free speech really means on a college campus and how we engage constructively in the discussion of important issues. These programs, as well as a student/alumni panel focused on social justice at WMU, were recorded as campus resources to help develop a campus culture of civil and respectful discourse. Brief descriptions and program links are accessible on the We Talk website.
