The Resilience Series, sponsored by the Seita Scholars and Foundation Scholars programs, presents "Human trafficking: Stories of how they find their way home" on Monday, March 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Trimpe Building. Bella Hounakey and Cayla Roberts, both Seita Scholars alumni who earned their bachelor's and master's degrees from Western, will share their inspiring stories as survivors of human trafficking who went on to thrive at WMU and have successful careers. They will shine a light on the horrors of human trafficking to raise awareness and encourage advocacy.
