Climate Change Across the Curriculum Learning Community

The Climate Change Across the Curriculum Learning Community is organized by the Office of Faculty Development in collaboration with the Office for Sustainability and the Climate Change Working Group.  It  seeks to foster the integration of climate change as a topic in WMU courses at all levels and in all disciplines and focuses on how to integrate the topic of climate change into AY 2022-23 courses while considering the best instructional design approaches. Participants receive a $500 mini-grant, two books on climate change pedagogy, and supporting resources through their participation in five synchronous virtual learning community meetings.

Faculty chosen to participate in the 2022 Climate Change Across the Curriculum Learning Community span the range of academic appointments and colleges, including representation from the Colleges of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, Health and Human Services, Education and Human Development, and Arts & Sciences.  The Learning Community meets virtually Friday mornings March 18-April 22. Check out the 2022 Syllabus.
