Shameek Bhattacharjee is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science in Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, USA. Prior to this, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Center for Research in Wireless Mobility and Networking (CReWMaN) in the Missouri Univ of Science and Technology (formerly known as Univ. of Missouri, Rolla). He received his Ph.D., and M.S. degrees in Computer Engineering from University of Central Florida in 2015 and 2011 respectively, and a B. Tech degree in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology (Techno India College), India in 2009. His research interests span across broad areas of cyber and information security and networking, with a special focus on cyber physical systems/internet of things, smart connected communities, and next generation wireless networks and data driven security analytics. He was also a recipient of the IEEE PIMRC Best Paper Award and Provost Fellowship Award.
