Ethics Center announces book club

The Center for the Study of Ethics in Society is offering a book club on Toxic Communities: Environmental Racism, Industrial Pollution, and Residential Mobility by sociologist Dorceta Taylor. The author develops new theoretical understandings of environmental justice by looking at how vulnerable communities are disproportionately harmed by pollution and other environmental hazards. Discussions will be led by Jon Milgrim, Faculty Specialist in the Department of Philosophy. Meetings will be at 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays Oct. 7, Oct .14 and Oct. 21 in 3120 Sangren Hall.
