Colleen Lindholz

As president of Kroger Health, Colleen Lindholz oversees the company’s pharmacy, clinical and nutrition operations and services including healthcare-related digital solutions and telehealth platforms. Kroger Health has over 2,200 pharmacies and 220 clinics across 35 states and serves more than 17 million customers annually.

Lindholz is the lead architect of the company’s Food as Medicine strategy and a passionate believer in Kroger Health’s vision to help people live healthier lives.  

She joined Kroger as a pharmacist in the Cincinnati/Dayton division in 1995 and has held several pharmacy roles including manager, coordinator, sales promoter, recruiter and merchandiser. In 2013, she was promoted to director of pharmacy sales and marketing, followed by accepting the role of president and CEO of The Little Clinic in 2015. In April 2017, she accepted a promotion to her current role as president of the newly formed Kroger Health organization.   

Lindholz is the recipient of Kroger’s Leadership Award and its Chairman’s Award, Progressive Grocer’s Top Women in Grocery Rising Star Award and Top Women in Grocery-Senior Level Executive Award and Forbes’ Best Service Award.  In 2018, she was recognized as one of the Most Inspirational Female Leaders of the Year by the Break the Ceiling Women in Leadership Summit. In 2019, Lindholz was named one of Eating Well Magazine’s American Food Heroes and one of Forbes’ Powerful Women Shaping the Future Of Food. She was also recognized as one of Modern Healthcare’s Leading Women in 2023 and named to Mass Market Retailers’ Women of Influence list in 2024 and 2025.

Under her leadership, Kroger Health was named Retailer of the Year in 2022 by Mass Market Retailers, and the Kroger Family of Pharmacies was recognized as a Forbes’ Best Customer Service Company.

She is extremely active in her community and participates on the boards of many organizations.
