Holiday Closure Housing Request

All Seita Scholars are required to complete the housing request form, regardless of whether they plan to stay on campus or in the residence halls during the closure. The Seita Scholars Program will pay the $273 per room for students to stay on campus in the residence hall during the holiday closure. It is important for students to be aware that the Seita Scholars Program will be charged for all the days of winter break, regardless of whether students choose to stay in the residence hall for some or all of the closure.

By accepting this assistance, students agree to help other students move if requested.

Housing
If you are staying on campus over the holiday closure (and do not currently live in the campus apartments) you will be staying in Eldridge/Fox. You will take only the belongings you will need during break, and you will not have access to your current room until the residence halls open again in January.

I understand that the Seita Program will pay the $21.97 per night rate for me to stay on campus during of winter break. I also understand that the Seita Scholars Program will be charged for all the days of winter break, regardless of whether I am there the entire time.

Moving Assistance
Moving assistance can be arranged if you need help transferring your belongings from your current residence hall to Eldridge/Fox. Moving times will vary based on where you live on campus, however, you can expect assistance to occur prior to 11:30 a.m. on moving day. If requesting moving assistance, you should be fully packed and have your belongings in the lobby of your current residence hall at your scheduled move time.

Over the holiday closure there will be several events that you can participate in. Space for each event is limited, so participation will be on a first-come or first-served basis with students living on campus over the break receiving priority registration for these events. Please indicate which events you intend to participate in (please note that this will serve as your RSVP to the event):
