Autocam Medical has also played an integral role in the creation of the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP) Lab at Western Michigan University. In addition to helping connect the lab with industrial partners in West Michigan, the company outfitted the 15,000 square-foot manufacturing incubator with the high-tech equipment needed to develop and evaluate new products and prototypes. This specialized machinery, coupled with the opportunity to receive valuable input from industry experts, has propelled the lab’s ability to inspire the next generation of engineers, technologists, and designers.
