Professional Instructor Opportunities
The Institute for Intercultural and Anthropological Studies is accepting applications for professional instructors to teach ANTH 2500: Introduction to Biological Anthropology (4-credit course) at our WMU Coldwater Campus as part of WMU’s Higher Education for the Justice-Involved (HEJI) Program. Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Master's Degree in Anthropology or a related field from an accredited academic program, as recognized by the US Dept. of Education.
- Knowledge of human skeletal anatomy and evolutionary biology.
- Experience teaching lab sections.
- Experience in biological/anatomy laboratory positions.
- Willingness to teach in-person at the Lakeland Correctional Facility, Coldwater, MI.
