Medallion Weather Updates

The Midwest is forecasted to experience a shift in weather patterns this weekend. Current weather forecasts indicate that it will be tomorrow afternoon before inclement weather nears Kalamazoo and, currently, the Medallion Competition will proceed as planned. The safety of our guests is very important to us and we are closely monitoring the weather forecast. Should we need to cancel the event, we will notify you as soon as possible.

In the rare instance that the WMU campus needs to close, a closure will be announced on:

• The WMU home page at wmich.edu.
• Area radio and television stations.
• The WMU emergency information phone line at (269) 387-1001.

We recognize that weather in Kalamazoo is not necessarily what's happening in your backyard. If you and your family are not comfortable making the trip to Kalamazoo because of inclement weather, please contact our office or email admissions-events@wmich.edu to cancel your registration. We will be pleased to award you the Bronco Merit Award as the final award amount for the competition.  

Please note that the competition portion of the event concludes at 12:30 p.m., and while we'd love for you to continue your day on campus, you are able to depart at that time.
