Poinsettia, popcorn orders due Nov. 24
KALAMAZOO, Mich.--The Professional Support Staff Organization at Western Michigan University has launched its annual fundraiser and this year, is taking orders for gourmet popcorn as well as poinsettias.
Orders for both items are being accepted through 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24. Funds raised support PSSO, which in turn supports WMU's Seita Scholars, finals survival bags, Relay for Life and Invisible need Project as well as scholarships for PSSO members and their dependents.
Ordering
Poinsettias come in two sizes, small (4.5 inches) and large (6.5 inches). They are available in two colors: glitter and red. The cost is $6 for a small plant and $10 for a large plant.
Popcorn is being offered through Kalamazoo Kettle Corn. Fresh popped kettle corn and eight varieties of gourmet popcorn are being offered in medium (8 ounces) and large (16 ounces) sizes. Two varieties also come in gift jars.
An order form is available online at wmich.edu/psso. Cash or check payment must accompany all orders. Checks should be made payable to PSSO.
Send completed order forms with payment to Cindy Zimmerman, facilities and debt planning, Seibert Administration Building, Mail Stop 5207. Email confirmation will be sent upon receipt of orders with payment.
Pickup
Poinsettias will be available for pickup from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Room 105 Bernhard Center. Plants not picked up by the 3 p.m. deadline will be donated to charity.
