Founder of Newmind Group next speaker at Entrepreneurship Forum

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The founder of Newmind Group, an IT solutions company, will be the next speaker in the Entrepreneurship Forum speaker series at Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business.

Daniel Jefferies will speak at 8 a.m. Friday, March 20, in 2150 Schneider Hall. The event is free and open to the public and begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (269) 387-6059 or at wmich.edu/business/e-rsvp. Free parking is available in the Fetzer Center lot.

Daniel Jefferies

A self-described entrepreneur, investor, advisor and troublemaker, Daniel Jefferies is the founder of Newmind Group, launching the company with the desire to assist companies in making work more profitable, productive and fun using technology.

Jefferies stepped down as CEO of the company in January 2014 to focus on research and development initiatives in conjunction with Newmind Group. Jefferies has a background in information technology and software development as well as a strong interest in entrepreneurship and improving engagement and happiness in the workplace.
