Aviation Outlook Day

Some 35 organizations will be on hand to recruit students headed for careers in aviation as the eighth annual Aviation Outlook Day takes place April 1 in WMU's Aviation Education Center, 237 Helmer Road N., on the aviation campus in Battle Creek. Career and Student Employment Services and the College of Aviation are hosting the event.

The event is designed to connect students with aviation employers to discuss career and internship options as well as and the needs of the aviation industry. Recruiters registered for the event range from Delta and Piedmont airlines to the National-Geospatial Agency and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Those attending are encouraged to wear business casual or business professional attire. In preparation for Aviation Outlook Day, WMU students should research employers and participate in on-campus career advising to get help with such activities as researching employers, being interviewed, and preparing resumes and personal commercials.
