Guest artist offers unique and rarely performed works

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Michigan-based concert presenter AEPEX Contemporary Performance makes its Kalamazoo debut with a concert of rarely-performed works for strings, piano and electronics at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University.

Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for seniors and $5 for students, and are available from Miller Auditorium online or by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858.

The program features music composed by the late French master Pierre Boulez, as well as WMU faculty members Lisa R. Coons and Garrett Schumann, among other living American composers.
