KALAMAZOO, Mich.--Western Michigan University officials will outline the overall findings of the University's Staff Compensation System market recalibration project during two sessions Tuesday, May 14, in the Bernhard Center's North Ballroom.

The first session will be held at 10 a.m. and the second at 1:30 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, both sessions will be livestreamed.

WMU partnered last fall with national consulting firm Aon to conduct this market-based review. Under the project, WMU and Aon representatives analyzed Staff Compensation System jobs to determine whether jobs were slotted in their proper pay grade given contemporary market data.

While officials will offer overall project findings and organizational impacts May 14, affected employees will be personally notified of pay grade changes and any pay adjustments beginning Wednesday, May 15.

To watch the livestream of the sessions and to later view archived videos of them, go to wmich.edu/hr/scs-market and click on Project Report Meetings. A Bronco NetID and password are required to access the livestream and videos.

To learn more, in addition to attending the upcoming sessions, employees also are encouraged to visit the project website at wmich.edu/hr/scs-market, which has been continuously updated since the project kicked off.
