Summer camps online at WMU in June
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Young learners still have an opportunity to explore graphic novels, cryptography and playwriting, among other areas, as summer camps during the month of May and June on the campus of Western Michigan University will be held online to accommodate social distancing guidelines to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Academically Talented Youth Program has moved its half-day, one-week June summer programs online. Information about these courses for middle and early high school students, along with a program for rising high school seniors to get help writing college admissions essays, can be found online.
The College of Aviation has canceled its upcoming summer camps in June and July. Updates and information about 2021 camps can be found at online.
A decision regarding other July and August camps will made at a later date. Please visit the summer camps website or contact WMU's Office of Pre-College Programming at (269) 387-2773 for questions.
