Western schedules back-to-campus COVID-19 vaccination clinics
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University's Sindecuse Health Center will host special return-to-campus COVID-19 vaccination clinics for students and employees before fall semester classes begin. No appointment is needed for this event offered as a drive thru or walk up from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug 30, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31. Attendees may choose to receive a dose of Pfizer vaccine, which requires two doses, or a Johnson & Johnson shot, which would provide a completed vaccination sequence and—if they are students—qualify them for entry in the Monday, Sept. 6, drawing for one of 22 incentive scholarships.
Drive or walk to the health center parking Lot 40 and request a COVID-19 vaccine from the greeter at the entrance. Verify eligibility, and then complete a short questionnaire to receive the vaccine. For the Pfizer vaccine, you will need to schedule a second vaccination appointment approximately three weeks later.
Call Sindecuse at (269) 387-3287 to make an appointment for additional times.
